How We Got Started

We came as refugees many years ago. We always had such great appreciation of our food and the community that we wanted to share what we love. 

Sonjhae means Sunset.

The store itself is named after our daughter. Just how we left, there was a sunset on our lives but there was beauty in it and along with it comes a new dawn, a new life, and new opportunities. 

We appreciated the help we got along the way and we aim to bring others the same that we got.
